オフィス移転も早3年・感謝の気持ちを込めて
早いもので、オフィスを移転して、3年が経ちました!
オープニングには関係者の方々、お客様、また日本からも沢山の方々にお祝いに駆けつけて下さいました。そして沢山のお祝いのお花に囲まれて、これもまた一生に一度味わえるかどうか、という位の幸せを運んで頂きました。
そして、また現地の人たちと皆さまに、ビジネスを通して精一杯喜んでもらる事をしよう…と決意した瞬間でした。この気持ちを忘れない為、年に一度頂いたお花とともに書かせて頂きます。
思えば12年前に、マレーシアの多様性のある教育を日本の方々に知ってもらいたい、英語も中国語もマレー語もみんなペラペラ、そんな思いから細々と少しづつ積み重ねてきた小さな会社。今では、この様なコロナ渦でも、一緒に働いて下さる方が増え、働く側もお客さま側も【皆さまに喜んで頂けるビジネス】を実現し継続出来ていることにミラクルを感じます。
会社経営は本当にグラフにすると、ギザギザ、波あり谷ありです。
12年間の間には、現地でのトラブル、ひどい目にあったり、スタッフ同士の争いあったり、一生懸命お客様に尽くしても報われなかったりと、思わぬところにたくさんの落とし穴が空いていて、よけてもよけても永遠に続いていきます。それでも、その都度皆さまに助けられてきました。海外で起業そしてそれを続けていく事は、かなりの精神力の強さと打たれ強さが必要なのだなとしみじみと…今でも毎日が戦いです。
そして昨年突然コロナ渦となり、もうそろそろ引退して自分のやりたい事の為だけに生きていくのも良いのではないか…とも考えたこともありました。これまで12年間ずっと、人の役に立つため、皆さまに貢献できる、喜んでもらえる事を仕事として頑張ってきたので、もう十分恩返しできたのかなと思っていました。
しかし、一緒に頑張ってくれている仲間、スタッフ、お客さま、先生達が頑張っている姿をみると、自分のやりたい事とは、ビジネスを通して精一杯喜んでもらる事をするという事がやりたい事なんだ、と気づかせてくれました。
コロナ渦になってから、留学関係の業務は殆どストップしていますが、オンラインでの英語レッスンがまた新しい業務として加わり、マレーシアだけではなくオーストラリアやイギリス、ハワイも繋ぐワールドイングリッシュとなりました。ぺらぺらになるまでの完全サポート付きの【ぺらぺらワールドイングリッシュ】が一番の人気プログラムとなりました。
コロナ渦で世界が急にオンライン化になった為、今後は急速にIT化したニューノーマルビジネスについて学び、アドバイス出来る様に動いていけたらなと思っています。
スタッフのみんな、お客さま、お友達、ビザ担当、不動産担当、車販売担当、保険会社、専属運転手の皆さま、学生寮、ホームステイ担当の皆様、旅行会社の皆さま、学校関係者、病院の皆さま、政府関係の皆さま、いつも使わせて頂いているレストラン、カフェの方々…移転オープニングの際は皆さまいらして頂きました。ありがとうございました。
これからも健康である限り、【皆さまに喜んで頂けるビジネス】をモットーに貢献できる事をライフワークとし、続けていきたいと思います。

It's been 3 yrs since we relocated to our new office/place. I can not believe the time flied so rapidly. With all these warm welcoming and opening celebrations, it was the moment when I decided to make the local people and everyone happy as much as possible through out the business.
I'm writing this column for myself not to forget this wonderful moment with the flowers I received.
The opening was celebrated by the people such as our staffs, related agencies, clients and even from Japan. Surrounded by many festive flowers, I was so happy and this is definitely enjoyable only once in a lifetime.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we're all facing and challenging in difficult situations but the no. of our staffs are increasing gradually as our business slowly is growing even in this pandemic.
Thinking about good old days, it was 12 years ago, I first landed Malaysia. I was so impressed about Malaysian education. Most of the local people are able to speak several languages such as English, Chinese, and Malay fluently. In Japan at that time not many people are able to communicate even in English and struggling with it. But look at Malaysia!!! They all communicate in different different languages! I realized and wanted Japanese people to know about the environment of Malaysia's diverse language education.
That was the reason I first decided to open up a small educational company for Japanese with only myself as a staff at that time. Nowadays, even with such a pandemic, the number of the staffs working together are increasing.
After 12 years served, now I'm very confident that we are able to continue serving clients and employees happily though business.
The graph of every company's management is jagged, with huge up and down like waves.
In these 12 years, there were many pitfalls in unexpected places, such as troubles with local people, facing terrible eyes, conflicts between staffs, and even if we tried our best to serve our clients, they would always find to complain things. Even if you try to avoid all these, it will come back to us Continuously. However luckily every time all these things happened, we have been helped by many people. Starting a business in overseas and continuing serving requires a strong mental strength.
Last year, suddenly the Covid-19 pandemic occurred and I decided to force all the Japanese staffs including myself to return to Japan considering at their safety. And I thought it maybe good to stop working so hard and do what I really want to do. I've done so much and satisfied with my career and work already. So maybe I retire as I'm getting old and financially sound.
However, thinking about the staffs, clients, and teachers who are working very hard together, I realized this is what I really wanted to do. ==Making people happy though business!== This is my mission and lifework.
Since the pandemic, our main business related to studying abroad has mostly stopped, but due to the new norm new style of online businesses have grown instead. We started online English lessons as one of our new business since then. And nowadays we have several online courses in world wide such as Australia, UK and Hawaii.
We are now learning about business marketing and consultation in new normal way. Hopefully this can be a new opportunity and adding on to one of our businesses in near future.
Lastly, I'd really like to appreciate all of our staffs, clients, friends, agents, real estate agents, car dealers, insurance companies, exclusive drivers, dormitories, homestays, travel agencies, school staffs, hospitals, government officials, restaurants and cafes that we always have functions ... for making us grow together and coming to our relocated opening party back in 3 years ago.
Our mission in Malaysia is [To serve and please everyone in business].
As long as I am healthy, I will try and continue to contribute to everyone under this mission.
